*Keep your ATM card usage to a minimum by estimating how much cash you will need for the week in advance. If you make three trips to an ATM at $2 per withdrawal, you'll spend $6 per week, or $312 per year!

*Write fewer checks by paying your bills online or with electronic billing options.

*Have your paycheck directly deposited into your account to save trips to the bank.

*Enroll in an online banking program if one is available to keep up with your finances easily from home or work.

Two Banks Might be Better than One

If you own a business, using two separate banks for business and personal accounts might be beneficial. Many banks that offer great business services come up short when it comes to personal accounts.
